engage Super League trophy tour visits Castleford school
Sports mad pupils at Park Junior school in Castleford will get their hands on one Rugby League’s most famous pieces of silverware on Friday, (8 February) when the engage Super League trophy pays a visit to the school as part of a national tour. Engage mascot “Sid the Savings Pig” will also be in attendance to meet and greet all the pupils.

The engage Super League trophy is currently on a national tour visiting each of the league’s 11 English based clubs.
As well as receiving a visit from the engage Super League trophy on Friday, pupils at Park Junior school in Castleford will also get the opportunity to take part in question and answers session with Castleford Tigers stars.
Adam Jude, the RFL’s community marketing manager, said: “In the build-up to the new engage Super League season, the trophy will be travelling hundreds of miles around the country visiting schools with close links to the clubs.
“It will give thousands of pupils a once in a lifetime opportunity to touch one of the most famous and recognisable trophies in British sport as well as give the youngsters a chance to meet some of their sporting heroes.”
